THREE EASY STEPS

STEP 1. Register for the Shances virtual opera class and dinner
​
STEP 2. Buy your opera ticket using the Met website. See below for more information.

STEP 3. Order your dinner. A month before the opera you will receive your dinner order form and further instructions.

VIRTUAL CLASS is where the adventure begins.
The class will cover opera basics, the history of the composer, and the story that inspired the opera, Attendees will receive a zoom link two weeks prior to the class.

Attendees should buy the tickets they can afford. If you are unfamiliar with the seating at the Met (view obstructions including those upstage and in the wings), it is strongly suggested that you call 212-362-6000 and talk to a Met seating agent rather than buying your ticket on-line.
​
Ticket prices range from $37 - $460.
​
Try to avoid all of the side box seats and standing room. Try to keep your seats towards the center. You don't have to buy an orchestra seat to have a great view.
​
